1. The bring command probably needs some changes, but I figured that making players vote might be a mess, I could add an option to set the cooldown time, but remember, the !bring command is for emergencies, such as when players get stuck, I thought players wouldn't really get stuck every 2 minutes, but as you wish.
2. I agree that this one might be really useful if combined with either the checkpoint system, or just normal play, I might add this in the future, I'll see what I can do.
3. The ammo and health used to stay just like weapons, but after playing a few maps, I noticed that it was a little unfair. It's a part of the challenge to have to share resources that you find, I might add a drop ammo feature or something though, that could come in handy.
4. This is already possible, perhabs even the whole gamemode could be done with complex lua coding in a map, but I guess I should make it easier for mappers to make their own checkpoints, that aren't just health rechargers. Or at least tell them how to do it, without needing to implement it in the gamemode.
5. This I think mappers wouldn't really use, also the players would probably just abuse the !bring command if someone got lost, so I think that this is really not worth the effort for mappers, or for me.
6. I might do that, that's a good point, I just don't know how at the moment. But when I find out I will modify them.
Thanks for your ideas!
Just a little update, I've just updated the gamemode and now you have an option to set the !bring command cooldown, health and suit rechargers give you 100% instantly, so other players can get what they need fast, you can drop ammo by typing !dropammo (it's good to have it binded on something), npcs no longer insta-kill you over the whole map with realism mode enabled and checkpoints are easy to make The only thing I couldn't figure out was making the weapons stay after death... but I can try to do that later.
Instead of having to totally forget about a map or even edit one, you could make a system where you can load saves.
So you can spawn the guns in sandbox, the ammo, and everything else you may need for your journey, then on the coop gamemode you just press "Load a save" and you have everything you may need that the map can't give.
Would also be able able to convert pretty much every map in existance into a coop map, since you just needed to spawn the enemies and weapons, save it, then load it into the gamemode.
I think the hardest part would be loading it everytime everyone dies. But i don't think it's impossible to make a system to load the game then set it as the restart point.
