Regardless I've added configs that let you adjust the values and the dark event.
Otherwise great Mod, I hope to use something like it in a special project. :)
- Allow timer to run as normal (as per vanilla) during missions where your objective is to destroy an alien transmitter. It doesn't really make sense to me that the aliens would wait on XCOM to arrive before trying to complete their mission objective in this circumstance.
- Either rebalance or remove the Dark Event. Would it be possible to retool it so that ADVENT randomly scans areas of the map for concealed teams, so that you have a chance to suddenly lose the benefit of concealment, just by being in the area of the scan? I think that might better fit the flavour of the mod, without being a surefire death sentence for VIP missions.
It's a great mod overall; I love that it fixes the turn timer mechanic, rather than flatly removing it. I'm sure glad I found out about it. <3
Perhaps it should just let the timers run from the instant you touch down? Maybe ADVENT ... sees the Skyranger?
by now i am so afraid to play the first turns of the timed missions !
still a great mod and thanks to add easy adjustments ini for the dark event. in my version of legend/i its impossible with the 3 and 5 turn limit timers it brings.
That said, this dark event has just pretty much ruined my C/I run. Gonna tune it down a bit.
