SP units only available in 1944 - 1945 standard year
you can only get SP units if you play on standard year, which is a bit of a shame. it wil be nice if it was added again.

Any reasoning for why it was removed? Was it to do with the RAM?

It was removed from earlier years due to the fact that many SPs were late war only, and i don't want to spend time making 20+ new SPs for early war.

Still, some SP are better than no SP.
