Set graphics to Low/Lowest. Play on low memory maps, ideally 3v3 or 2v2. Restart your game after every match. Use standard resource settings, avoid spammy games

You dont have to play small sized maps though, graphics are the major culprit in overloading game's memory, variety of units too but i dont get memory crashes even by having usa, sovs, uk against wehr with ss in same match and thats on pc which has been built in 2008 that has never been upgraded since then.
Just dont forget to restart the game after every match when you are playing big mods and reduce graphics till you stop crashing due to memory shortage.
