They are an invincible rapid fire rifle grenade, for the cost of a machine gun. They cannot be run over, blown up, or anything of the sort because they count as a pick-up. They have no aiming time, and the grenade has the power to wipe entire squads whether they are in cover or not. God forbid you're playing a map that isn't literally a flat field, because you cannot counter it. There is no counter.
