theyre just overused. whether theyre on my team and turn into a huge MP sink of idiots spamming flame tanks or someone spamming them against me.

I am also extremely tired of fighting flame tanks instead of getting anything actually done with my team. There's a lack of people trying to actively counter attacks at times, and others just outright exploit their power to the point in which you have to actually stop whatever you're planning, and just outright plug the bleeding hole of your allies not taking the threat seriously. Making them SP units would stop their use quite a bit, but also would prevent the enemy from being able to back them up with something absolutely ridiculous (ie late game heavy tanks).

So do you want flame tanks to be special units for US/Germany only while Soviets can pay MP? If so, big nope. Soviets are strong enough as it is.

And they are overused because they are braindead, easy to use and most of all, absolutely hilarious. I love flamer universal carrier on meme value alone. The flamer universal carrier should not be 1 SP, that's just absurd.

In a perfect world, flame vehicles would just be removed.
