+1 extra bullet for MGs, BAR, Thompson and Garand
The BAR, Thompson, and the MGs shouldn't have the one-in-the-chamber rule, just like the mp40. All fire from an open bolt.

The M1 Garand shouldn't have 8 +1 because the chambered round is ejected. You can even see it kicked out in the reload animation.

This is more noticeable with bolt action rifles where you can load an extra round and have 6 shots.
