- if you have trouble getting launched, make sure that you're entering a cannon-portal at full speed, there's a chance that the cannon doesn't work if you're too slow.

- if launching constantly smashes you into a building, take another look at the direction from where you enter the cannon-portal, the arrows help you judge if you will deviate up/down/left/right on top of your launch trajectory.

- temporary blocking cannon-portals is done by reaching the airship, and entering a portal to the desired base, this will let you activate a barrier that will shut off the cyan and yellow cannon... as long as you stay near that barrier.
