The F-15EX would be a nice, modern addition to the mod, it might take a long while for it to implement, but I'm willing to wait.

Just add the X behind F-15E lol. Nothing really changed but internal components and the ability to fire hyper Sonic missiles

The F-15EX looks different externally. The fairings atop the vertical tails are identical compared to older two seaters.
The engine nozzles are different as the Eagle II uses the F110-GE-129A engines instead of the F100-PW-229 seen on the older E models.

Internally the cockpit is last gen.

In terms of gameplay here's what would change :

- Due to bigger containers for chaff and flare received with the EPAWSS integration, the F-15EX can carry around 50% more counter measures.

- The F-15EX is apparently capable of carrying two extra AMRAAM missiles on its inner wing pylons. In addition, there are images of F-15EX's carrying double AMRAAM racks under the fuselage.

- If some pilots like SDBs, you might like this. There are photographs showing the Eagle II carrying twelve SDBs total. (8 on either side, with four in the center).

Basically, it's an F-15E with stronger engines, more ordinance options, and better survivability.

It's very likely some advancements made on the silent eagle carried over. This would not result in a stealth fighter, but it would be stealthier than a baseline strike eagle. How effective it would be is anyone's guess.

That was for the F-15SE Silent Eagle, which is in the mod.

I know the forum's still down so I haven't been able to track updates, but is there any chance at a non-CFT F-15EX? They are absolutely being seen flying missions without them.
