error about ability's locfriendlyname missing, leadership skills set remain locked
I can assign unit to do leader training, however training finishes right away, and gives error about ability's locfriendlyname missing. All leadership menu items remain locked.

I have this same problem. Also, when I got the mod, I was able to do the training, even before upgrading the GTS, but like you, I got the locfriendlyname missing error, and cannot use the mod otherwise. I may try reinstalling the mod, or installing it via the Nexus instead of the Steam workshop.

I think it is some kind of mod conflict. I was not able to identify it. So I had to start a brand new game with reduced set of mods. It is currently working.

I have a screenshot of the error. if it helps. I have already trained 5 sargeants and i am still getting the same error. Unsubscribed all LW mods and resubscribed but still getting the same error.

Hey, so, I figured out why mine doesn't work... I didn't read as well as I thought I did.

I have Patrol Training. That conflicts with the Leader Pack-
Removed it and can now train my characters as leaders.

Alternative Mod Manager doesn't list it as a conflict so I didn't even notice until I was going through mods for other reasons.
