Question about Power generation
I am using the Industry Overhaul mod and it makes wind energy quite important at start because only alternatives is coal which can be quite far away.

I have a issue that without the mod my windmills produce around 300kw of power but with the aerodynamic physics they only produce 50kw because the windpower is so low.

im playing on a scenario ares at war so i cant change the planet which is agaris currently with a windpower of 0,10m/s. IS there a way to make aerodynamics not affect the windmills or atleast increase the windpower per admin commands etc?

press f10 open the menu that is on the top left cornor and deactivate wind simulation , that should fix your problem

oh i see will that make the areodynamic mod still work though? like the wind resistant etc

I do need to look into ares as to why the wind speed seems to be so divergent. Its a custom planet so my mod may be 'learning' the expected wind speed incorrectly resulting in lower power gen (and lower overall winds on the planet)

I got the same thing with a custom planet TerraRemake,
sometimes windmills do less power than 1kW very strange

i have industrial overhaul it works fine on most planets but i get the felling that the moddet planets like terra and some 1 or 2 more have some problems maybe even the planets that where releases bevore the weather update cant say anything about wind speeds i dont use windmills allways pollute XD but on some planets like terra i have seem wierd things going on in physics and large grid ships if not very well made
