valve dont accept "styles" anymore. sadly
That's Valve's decision, to be honest, but as far I can tell, they base off on the pictures of the workshop. For example, the Soot Suit, even though barely clipping with the default napalm grenades, the pictures were made without, since the author thought it would better without them, and it was added and the "grenades" bodygroup for the pyro is disabled upon equipping the item.
To be fair, the last item with two styles that Valve added was the Lurker's Leathers, which for me, was a good decision. I dislike the default style with the black sweater, but I like the one with the tie.
