This might be to late but what you could do is do command ghost go under and get your dino fly it back up and then kill your self to get rid of the ghost effect.

problem with ghosting is as soon as you hit water you're no longer ghosted your swimming.

So is the dino in one place or is it moving it important because this can help the situation.

It is in one place. I was on the center map and wasnt aware there was not an exit in the underground world area. So i used ghost to try and get out of there and back to the surface. Hit water like i said and started swimming. I swam a while trying to get to the surface but could not reach it. Now It has fallen below even that layer and i'm pretty sure its reached the point of no return as i learned once it reaches a certain depth ark will remove the creature.

Well that really sucks im so sorry i love all my ark dinos just the other day went back 3 hour in progress just to save my saber. Anyway there is one last thing you could try if you can see the dino with a spyglass you could make it follow you to a deep part of the ocean and it might glich back in the world. Are you in single player because you could try to use a old save and that could make it possible to save your dino.

i'm sorry to hear that. what i usually did was ride the pet and then use a teleport command to teleport to another online player on my server, that brings your pet with you.

I got on just after posting that and like i thought the dino is no more... Thanks for the post about the teleport. I wasnt aware that it would work that way. It will be very very useful in the future! :)

Also for future reference if it is close enough to see but not close enough to whistle you can use your spyglass and look at it and then whistle it to you. Believe it only works if it is close enough to bring up the name tag when looking through the galss though.

If all else failed you could have used a combo of ghost, infinite stats and/or god mod. especailly if it was a high level you put a lot of time into.

I think there may be a teleport tamed dino to you command as well but you'd have to check the gamepedia to see if it is there and what it is. Ok checked and do not see anything. I know I've seen tames teleported in YT videos but that was with a rider on it and they probably teleported the player and the dino came along because they were on it.
