I would suggust a revival of German nationalism, with a rush to reconquer a new reich with the consequence of not rejoining extreme unrest. For sultanates, make intreasting events like "Muslim and German?" that talks aobut these states german and muslim heritage.

What I meant was that as Muslim Germans began to rediscover their history and old works, they wouldn't become nazis, but it might result in a german rennasiance, such as italians discovering the old greek and roman works led them to desiring their old attributes back; including productivity, respect for authority... sausage

I didn't say anything about Nazis, only one of the 3 reichs consisted of Nazis. Anyway, it could work, but German Muslims don't sound like a good mix of cultures. Not that it's too outlandish, but it just does not sound very exciting or interesting.

How about a revival of the Holy Roman Empire or something?

Berlin has four vassals at the moment, and I have plans to make the last bordering OPM their vassal as well.

I would suggest different scenarios like how there is a german nation based of the 4th Reich then another that is based of HRE or the old Germanic Barbarian Tribes

Why not have them revert to the Old Ingveonic Ways. Have them fall back to warrior cults and Tribal unions. Split it up into smaller nations in a sort of HRE style union. Would be a cool way to represent it.

Personally I feel its a bit over the top all things considered. A Muslim faction would be good but I just don't feel Germania would be the place to put them. I feel an Ingveonic League would be a more appropriate flavour.

Shia and Catholicism are mostly just placeholders. I intend to create a Christianity-Islam hybrid religion, with Catholicism replaced by the more Christianity-influenced side, and Shia by more Islam-influenced side.
