Godlings can damage metal/photon turrets...
So, the mod description said godlings can hurt UP to stone, and the photon turrets are safe as they are metal. So, I built a pen out of metal dino gates, put up some turrets with a generator, and cheat spawned in a max level drago type. With little effort it took out the gates, turrets, and then myself (forgot to put god mode on, woops!). I wanted to watch the show of the photon turrets but didnt happen.

EDIT: It is the smash attack only that seems to be able to damage metal, flame and LMB swipe/headbutt are not damaging metal.

godlings cannot damage metal with any attacks, only god can. verify that the structure u test on is metal tier. take note that ark's vanilla turrets are not metal.

solo game, i made a bunch of metal foundations and walls, made tribe, left tribe (so structures became enemy), reclaimed drago godling and blackheart godling, flame and LMB claw/headbutt attacks did not damage metal however the C smash attack did damage and destroy the metal.

After more testing i have indeed discovered that this problem occurs currently maybe due to the recent change in ark dev patch with renaming of the damage type files.
I have just released a fix they no longer can damage metal with slam ability, thanks.
