Problem with fixing bayonet
Hello everyone! I have a problem with fixing bayonets, since when I press B, I get no animation, and my musket goes back to my soldier's shoulder and I get no bayonet, only this bunch of words in the log in red text, saying something like "no_item" or something like that. Could anyone please help me?

Still no luck...I just keep getting an item error code and I can't download from the Internet because it just asks for something to open the file with and I've got no luck with it...And I can't customize my soldier either..

You will need some type of software capable of opening compressed or zipped files if you download from the internet. 7-Zip File Manager software is available on the internet for free and it will open zip files.

That happens when I press B and try to fix a bayonet. And I ended up getting the mod manually via mediafire, so thank you for pointing me in the right direction when it came to downloading the module. :steamhappy:

Fixing bayonets is only of marginal benefit in terms of making gameplay more interesting for the War of 1812 mod. You only get a very small aiming bonus for having your bayonet off. Most soldiers in the War of 1812 went into battle with their bayonets allready on. It is much more relevant to have this feature in a Civil War mod like North and South where the weapons are rifled, much more accurate, and the aiming bonus for a non bayoneted weapon would be more significant. We only included it because one of our dev team mentioned having it in a preview thread on the fse forums. As far as your issue, I do not have access to a local only server and can not duplicate your problem or attempt to solve it. But, I can't understand how differences in servers would cause the module system not to execute the script for fix bayonets. Someone who knows the module system better than I do might be able to answer this question. Also, remember that any game mode that uses bots will not have the fixable bayonets feature.
