New Nation Discussion - Hungary
Units similar to Germany they have their own medium and heavy tanks that can match any other nation. They do lack some stealth units and early infantry weight.. but make up for it for their defensive capabilities. Defend budapest!

hi! i like authenthicity and id like to bring into your attention that the voice acting for hungary in gsm is in romanian and the soldiers names also

zrinyi II 105mm was used extensvely was very effective. it was the better armor hun produced along with the nimrod. special point unit maybe? 5SP instead of the 88? freefrance turning out to be awsome btw

i have been working on hungary over the last 3 days. It's pretty much there. SP units added.

sounds good cant wait for some youtube videos on testing it. if youd like to add some elite infantry like the 13th demibrigade for france or just give a name for some defensive infantry look up the szent laszlo division. they did some awsomeness at the final stages of the war. even guderian thanked them for their deeds covering german retreat near river ipoly. soviets gave "shoot on sight"-order on them as they did with the waffenss troops. also they had a cool insignia(the battle-axe of king laszlo :D)

Good to know. I will change the name of some and see if we can make that skin :D.
i read up alot about hte Rapid division, but didn't hear of the szent laszlo.

I also read a interesting story of otto skorzenny kidnapping the head of state of hungary before he could negotaite with the allies.. Aassaulting the palace iwth 2 king tigers

6 kingtigers sturmpioneers with goliaths and the 600th ss paras amongst other infantry behind his kubelwagen :D i guess the defending crown guards didnt have any atgrenades left. there was a nimrod but didnt yolo the tigers either. prop didnt watch simers tutorial on it

tried and it worked like charm for me :) . i thought "flak41" will be useless but on tramway depot because of the wall nearby i could longshot a lot with it it also covers your flag too

suggestion: 39m 43m {healthDamage 140}? these guns fired 9x25 mauser export a fairly potent cartridge. itd give the infantry a little bit more edge. few 39m guys in assault squad instead of lot of ppd40s maybe?

hmm just taken a look, it shoudl be similar damage to other rifles. should be healthdamage 200?

but that sounds op because stg have only 160 in comparison. maybe just give more danuvias per sqaud? respect btw on the balancing work youre doing ;) hard
on the testing video the guys played really agressively with hungary and it didnt work mostly because france has loads of stealth. thats why i thought itd be a good idea to compansate with better infantry. almost all other nations have some decent stealth units also. or maybe give them "partisan hunter" troops with better enemy detection? germans also used such units during the war. but i dont know if thats doable

hmm the rifle dmg is actualyl default and hasn't changed. There's only a few rifles which haev different damage like the automatic rifles. The hungarian one should not have any disadvantage to any other nation. Since these rifles take a long long time to fire between shots the dmg is not that good!

RE stg, this hasn't been changed from the default too. It fires very fast! and is already very good for the price.

oh i was talking about the 39m/43m danuvia smgs sry for didnt carifying it. as they could be little bit like the stg44 inn german assault squad

Zrinyi II 43M having 50CP seems a bit too high compared to Sherman 105 which have 25CP.

Gave hungary a 1v1 with italy and it plays pretty well-good stuff strat. :) One issue I found was at the beginning stages of the game, the elite marksmen squad has no grenades and only has 2 molotovs as substitute at grenades. Maybe add at least 1-2 ap grenades to their inventory as atm they're just too weak against assault infantry with only bolt action rifles and no ap grenades.
