The artillery was also mix of german and russian stuff. Could be a interesting force combined with extraordinary marksmenship

Most of the Finnish artilery/howitchers(spelling?)/MG's/cannons where supplied by Sweden! And allot of other militery supplies like 1/3 of the swedish air force of the time where sent in the voluntere force where over 10 000 swedes enlisted.

So how would this swedish "matter" find his way in to the game? As a"swedish volunteer" in the swfinnish faction? And what would be the specific abilities? Can we identify existing equipment in the game/mods which could be converted into swedish "army-donations"?

I think the bofors at-gun could work

most coolest would be ( and easiest) would be to make finland vs ussr in winterwar in 1939, it would be realy cool.

There could be two "campaigns". The Winter war and the Continuation War from 41-45. Both would demand a different set of vehicles. The superiority of the finnish troops in winter warfare compared to the russian troops could be modeled with the already mentioned extraordinary marksmenship, larger vision and better equipment with explosives and molotovs.

Well standart battle rifle under the winter war was a version of a mauser but inporved :D
Most of the guns they used was inproved versions of german guns and some swedish made guns under ww2. Thougt most of the finnish army was supplied with swedish guns. And most Cannons, Artillery, tanks, cars, btr, planes. Almost 1/3 of the swedish air force was sent to F 19.

yeah swedish equipment was realy important for finnish military in ww2, but there werent that much wolunteers from sweden (compared to situation).

also after ussr-finland war ended in 1944 finland had to push germans away from their north-part, it would be cool to make some mission about finnish soilders attacking to some famous city in finland ''battle of rovaniemi'' or something like it.

Ye but i would like to see swedish equipments for finnland and not captured german/sovijet stuff and maybe have the voluntere force as a special unit or a elite unit :D

We definately need more special units, is there any elite norway/swedish force fighting in finland? also what made them special?

in finland there fought swedish, norweigan and estonian volunteers, and in northern part of finland there were german forces, taking care of northern lines.
