Thanks for the heads up Sally. Although as I've stated in a previous discussion, that missing texture is there by default because that particular entity associated with went unused in Left 4 Dead 2. It's a left over from Half-Life if I remember correctly. I don't know how to fix it on my own anyway because of the lack of directory information with that entity

Because someone observed that the map crashes as soon as a random player joins, and thus people are setting the server to friends only to prevent crashes.

I genuinly want to fix this issue, believe me on that one. There might be a patch in the upcoming week or so

Truly sorry to hear this.

Although the "solution" has been found, I have not implemented it yet for various reasons. Why? Fixing bugs tends to spawn other issues, if not tested thoroughly. If the extent of the issue is game breaking, finding another way around it will take just as more time and might not even be worth it. I'd like to have more time to make sure that the fix works most of the time. Or, someone else could do the dirty work for me. Grab plenty of subjects and record the results.

Deep Thunder, I think he meant the map crashes as soon as a player joins it, so it doesn't really support multiplayer at the moment.

I have written a detailed explanation in Discussions on how the map can be modified to prevent the multiplayer crash. It's a process that should take ~5 minutes. I know you are busy but I hope you find the time to implement the fix!
