The title says you can't find "a" vpk file, but the description says you can't find "the" vpk file. I'll address both issues.
If you downloaded the map from the Steam workshop, the .vpk is located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop
If the map was downloaded from Gamemaps, or anywhere else other than the Steam workshop, it's located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons

Currently no gamemaps link. They would literally tear me apart, both the map and as a person, for having a "broken" map. They would probably take it down too for all I know.
We all know where the Workshop download link is.
