Agreed - The fact that you're updating so much is great, but maybe you could fit things into bigger, less frequent ones?

i understand your situation, but i work on my mods when i have time for that. this is by no means an official item or DLC where you could maybe expect something like an update schedule. as loong as steam auto update and ARK's handling of mods work as they do, this will not change.

Yeah, I'm uninstalling the mod for this very reason. The mod will update on the client, but not until the server is restarted, so we get into a situation where players cannot connect until I restart the server. The updates are too frequent, I can't keep up.

Yes please, my private server always times me out after an auto torch update until I restart it.

So there's no fix coming for those of us that can't use it due to it causing us to crash and not being able to rejoin the server until it's restarted?

well that should make everyone that can use it happy anyway. Many of us have removed it because the game becomes unplayable. Time to find an alternative.

well perhaps instead of being down on the mod and throwing a pity party, you should maybe help try to track down WHY it's not working correctly on your server or SP game and see what you can do to help the dev fix it.

I'm all for updates and bug fixes etc on mods just not with such frequency that you spend more time rebooting your servers and waiting for them to come back online than you do playing them. Really good way to tick off a playerbase and lose them.

If I were a dev I would create my own mod. I have no idea what is wrong with his mod, only that if we try to place a torch we crash, get a timeout error and can't re-enter the server until it's restarted. I'm not the only one having this problem. The comments have more than a few reporting this and so far they have been ignored.

Having your server crash whenever you go near it, or try to place it will also tick off your player base and anyone having this issue has already had to remove it and thus they're lost. I like this mod, but right now I think it's time to look for alternatives since the people "needing" colored torches are happy and so the dev is happy.

I run 4 servers none have this issue. Have admins do a fresh install of all server mods. Then verify servers game install. Players do the same. If that doesnt work use the anticortuption save to rollback to by renameing it to replace current save .

And if NONE of that fixes it then remove mod and use bulk crafters torches in it work the same just dont have timers

Discounting everyone that has this issue just because you don't want to have to deal with another update is every bit ridiculous as the dev ignoring everyone that has this issue.

Dont be a ♥♥♥♥ dude i was trying to help but if you wanna get all uppity over it then quite simply enjoy your buggy server because obviously YOU are at fault here and just want to pass the buck
