Zomdodos usually only spawned at death island, or the Island next to the volcano on the center. I'd assume they spawn there by logic. However... I have no proof...

I think you are talking about the Silver Dodo not about a Zomdodo. The Silver Dodo should spawn like the Golden Dodo. They do spawn on and around the 3 Main Islands

Thanks for the reply, i thought the same thing since i usually kill normal zomdodos there but alas none have turned up and ive been wiping the island for the last hour or so. Was wondering since if the developer said they act the same way as golden dodos then theyd usually sapwn around the beaches.

Also went to look again and the patch notes say silver zomdodo, so if you are saying silver regular dodo then i am clearly looking in the wrong place and theres a typo on the patch notes.

Well the golden dodo has become really rare, and the silver zomdodos shouldn't be much different imo. I personally find silver treats a little worthless in the face of sedatives and free kibble.

Nope... you need to kill their primal Counterpart. They are like are bigger, stronger Version of them who drop Insignia with which you can tame the "normal" Ones

You could use silvers treats before the patch to tame ubers just not gold. Plus i didn't read anything about them removing their taming capablities in the patch notes, on a side note still haven't found a single silver zomdodo and ive seen killed 5 gold ones.

They cut it some patches before not with 3.9..

It spawned on the half burned island near the volcano/lava island on my server.

Unless it was changed in 3.9.2(unlikey) - You could still tame ubers off silver treats(takes 3) as of 3.9.1

I found them on the small vulcanic island, where i also found my dodorex.

Thanks everyone. Ill give it a whirl again, i sat over there for a while and didn't see a single one spawn. Ill look harder. Are they spawning by themselves or are they umm spawning with the pack of zomdodos?

Did yall just happen upon them or like clear the island for them? So ive been consitantly wiping the island over and over for the last two hours, i mean i haven't left. Everything except for the primal wyvern. Did yalls spawn by itself? Does it aggro other dinos right away? We have the spawn upped a bit but im keeping everything wiped so its not like i shouldn't see this thing. Does it spawn by itself? Is it big small? Sorry for the hounding, ive just been doing this yesterday and today and still nothing.
