Future of AG?
So I used to love this mod, haven't played it in a long time though and thought I'd come back and play it again. Everything I'm seeing says it's broken due to lack of updates on the TLC passes. I've ran through the comments and found little to no communication and weird cryptic messages from the mod devs. I'm curious if anyone has information on the mod from outside sources...ie Twitter/Discord/whatever. Here's a recap of what I've seen


Is this to mean Alice is not doing ok?

Read the IMPORTANT NEWS link in the Mod description. Psycho said that the mod will be updated.

This iteration of Annunaki Genesis will be updated by Alice after the next ADK has been updated (that includes TLC 2). This update will include TLC 1, TLC 2 and Aberration & Ragnarok -Spawn Zones.

There is no ETA for this update, as it's dependent on the ADK release.

When we stop supporting Annunaki Genesis this will be announced on the mod page and NOT on something like Discord.

Good read. I hope the devs are doing well. Seems EC is doing quite well, although it would be nice to have a definitive answer but i understand where they are coming from.

There is still hope in my heart for an update.

by far my best and most enjoyable times on ark were on the annunaki genesis servers (specifically the pvp, i know it can be a bit glitchy but it was fast paced and still challenging, i personally think pve is too calm and boring when it comes to AG) i also still have hope for an update which will hopefully spark a couple of servers to pop back up.

Agree, this is the mod that kept me playing Ark after the first 1000 hours lol Really hoping it's not going to die, but it's not looking good at this point.

I do prefer this Mod over Extinction Core....... This just seemed better balanced when using High x moddifiers.... Not to mention the Blance of spawns...... Hope this gets a fresh update once the Extinction ADK is realeased...

From my recolection Psycho left this project a long time ago, there was a sticky for awhile talking about how he wanted to focus on EC and Alice and Toranaga would be left in charge of updating this mod. That should be pretty obvious since EC has been getting updates and AG hasn't. So perhaps if you don't know what you are talking about you should, as you say, shut your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouth up.

As far as it being dead, only takes a moment for one of the mods to say hey, lot going on, we are planning on continueing to support this mod. The fact that they haven't in months, kinda says a lot in itself. Sadly, they could easily hand it off to someone to continue working on if they can't/don't want to anymore but it's not looking like that's going to happen either.

It is by far one of the better supior mods, would be a real shame to let it die... Ive tried running it on various maps & there are small issues on all.... Lots of stuff has been added since this was last updated so if someone was to take it over or fix it i imagine it would be a fair bit of work... problem is with every passing patch it gets further away from the likely hood of being fixed or updated.... sad face defo...

Whelp guess that finally answers that. GG

IMPORTANT : Due to personal and financial circumstances, I'm unable to continue developing this mod for the foreseeable future, therefore this mod is now on indefinite hiatus regarding further updates & expansion, unless notified otherwise on this workshop.
