I am wondering the same. The only reason to play this mod, to be honest, is the map. It's the most realistic scenario and there are many interesting map details, too. From what I saw, at first the dead naked(I cant remember too well)women corpse gets removed, and now the whole thing is removed. It seems like no one asks why. It might be removed because of the Massacre followed the fall of city, but if they dont want triggered Chinese people they should just add a playable Nationalist Chinese mission also set in Nanjing. The other missions are simply not as well done. What a shame.
