Stupid question from a new player
I know probably everyone knows this but I cant seem to figure it out...how do I eat as a dino? Pressing E to eat it makes the food disappear but does nothing to my hunger. Also, how do you get food as an herbivore? I dont see any way to gather food from plants as pressing E will make the invisable human get off the dino.

Uh, bro, you harvest it,
and then go into your inv and eat it there

I know you eat from your inventory but I cant seem to, it says to press E to consume but it does nothing to my dinos hunger.

Nevermind I think it was glitched or maybe I was eating the wrong food but its working now

You gather berries from plants the same way you would when riding a dino normally. Just attack the bushes to gather stuff.
