I think they mean restricted in that you'd need both the 'Tip Of The Hat' hat to use along with this taunt. Pretty sure it's compatable with all hats, though, and they just used TOTH as an example.

I believe in a situation like that, the merc would still tip his "hat" without actually grabbing it.

I hope it is... i mean thats the point of charity items...to help charity

Honestly, I dont see why this would be restricted to one hat, the animation dont seem like they are holding or moving the hat; its just a general animation so should work with all hats or without one.

As for how to get one; anyway is good, if its exclusive for donators thats a plust for charity, and if is through the Mann. Co. Shop., it would still be for charity but the flow would be probabbly too much ingame.

In any case, I really like this taunt and the meaning.

actualy, if you look at the preview, only engi sniper and scout actualy tip the hat. all other classes simply do a gesture ,like tipping their finger on their forhead (similar to saluting), so i doubt that it would look bad with hair/no cosmetics.

Now you can help children with cancer whilst filling that camping gibus sniper full of lead.

Keeping in mind that some people are simply unable to donate to charity for one reason or another, and it is leaving out the people who would've, but couldn't.

And? The Event is ending already, it would still be here and you can already still buy the hat and the money goes to charity.
