Sim Speed issue on Dedicated server & local client.
I'll be honest, i'm rather new to hosting a DS, and I do have around 350+ other mods running too. However with the DS and Local Client both running the same mods and with this one enabled, Sim speed would regularly drop from .7 to .5 or less, once I disabled the mod on DS and local client and keeping all other variables the same (mods, server settings, etc), my sim speed improved to .90-1.05.

Both tests were done with the exact same server state: (meaning, dsame settings: oxy disabled, air tightness disabled, exact same Other mods were still present, the exact same station and ship were present and attempts to replicate the simspeed drop were the same)

The world I was using at the time of my test (Late last week week) is significantly different now and would not be considered "Same Conditions" if you'd like, I can supply a current copy of my world anyway ( currently it is running on torch, with concealment and is generally stable at 1.0 to 1.05 simspeed, with only occasional dips down to .85 which typically only occurs when meteors drop in to say hello).

That sounds even harder to find now :P

This isn't something I can fix by just looking at the code to find something wrong because it's already quite optimized.

If this mod does indeed cause sim speed to drop I'll need something that I can replicate on my machine so I can find the cause.

I think torch has a profiler plugin of sorts that shows what methods use how much processing time, but that will of course itself impact sim speed trying to measure all those things.

Well, send the world anyway, I try to load it in singleplayer and profile it with SE's profiler build.

Roger that, the internet is down where my server is hosted at the moment, i'll get it to you as soon as I can. oh one other thing of note, i have not tested it since getting the optimization plugins, maybe once my friends' connection comes back online i'll try it again before I send the world and let ya know the results.

Alrighty, now that all the tech issues in my area are semi dealt with (half my neighborhood is running off generators at the moment x_x) I was remoting into the server machine, then I realized I have no idea which file to send you, there isn't a single "file" though I may just be looking in the wrong place. (Instance\Saves\worldname) am I looking in the wrong place?

Worlds have multiple files and they should be in a Saves folder yes.
If you have multiple folders with worlds then I dunno =)

And for me to load it properly I do need all the files :}

in an attempt to double check my results, i'm currently re-testing the mod... this time it's only dropping by .05 (ie: .90 to .85) compared to last time. I've removed several mods since my original test. So I think it's possible another mod might have been conflicting with it. i'll let ya know what I find.

This mod is causing low sim speed when firing weapons.

Steps to reproduce:
open a new world with this mod
Shift + F11 (to watch client sim in milliseconds)
fire a hand weapon

It's caused by TextAPI and the only thing I can do is remove the menu entries until Draygo fixes it (I did tell him ofc).

EDIT: And he fixed it :}
