I have the same issue. The fertile brush does not work at all for me.

i havent actualy tride it for a while as playing some different games but yea its anoying you would think it would have been fixed by now hopefully it will be soon.

I figured out you need to clear the land first - that is, delete all the trees, before it will let you paint fertile land. Hope this helps.

I think i tride that cant remember was months back but i could swear it worked even with stuff there ile take a look when next on thank you for the information and help ile reply again if it works.

Hey just took another look seems what ever was wrong has fixed itself could have been the map i was using also i dident need to delete anything it seems as you point the ground with fertile ground it points it around objects so nice it works again.

I'm having this problem too. I really hope we can find the source of the problem. I make a map with a nice fertile land layer, and then I try to start a new game and the entire fertile land layer is just gone. I don't remember this happening until recently.

yea at moment for me it fixed itself it could be certain map or something but yea hope it gets fixed if problem is found.

I discovered the problem that was stopping my fertile land areas from working on an upcoming map that I am making. If you use ronyx script to import resources from an image, using the blue channel (forest resource) will block fertile from working on the entire map. So by not using this channel, I was able to free up my fertile resource and make it usable again. So I guess if the creator used this process to create the resources on the map, the fertile layer will be forever blocked and will not work correctly.
