While using this mod, how do I change the trees from network that uses them, as par the new Airports DLC feature? In fact, is it available at all if I use this mod?

I've noticed that an icon of upgrade road appears when I select a tree and put the cursor on top of the road, but as I click to upgrade, the tree is put below the road, apparently by the brush feature of this mod.

I do use Prop and Tree Anarchy and Prop Line Tool, and the same thing happens regardless of which anarchy mode I choose. I do believe it has to be something with the brush, though.
