Right now i have set it up for 500 zombies to spawn in incriments of desired seconds, obviously this will cause massive game lag.
My scenario starts and then in my desired seconds the zombies spawn even though the player has not actually reached the area, by time the player reaches the area all zombies have spawned and it causes massive lag because he or she has yet to be able to kill the ones that have spawned.
So what I want is some game logic based off of l4d2 since ive spent time playing that I wanted to base a mission off of that play style although not really "random"
So, Player enters area (X) 100 zombies spawn at incriments of 3 minutes.
Player has only two options to dispose of the zombies and leave area (X) before the next wave, or fight untill all of the zombies have been killed to the Cap limit in Area (X)
but right now the zombies spawn instantly as soon as the map is booted, and i cant figure out how to make them only spawn once the player enters the desired area to stop lag, as I also have zombies atleast 100-200 placed randomly through the map that I think the player will take to get to the extraction/safe zones, also around looted areas where they can restock mildly on medkits and or replenish limited ammo to advance furthor.
