FPS Drops :(
My average fps are: 147...

(AMD FX 8350
GTX 960)

But my FPS are dropping... cant play normal... -.- also with 4:3 800x600 its dropping..
I tried all!
- fps configs
- pc cleanup
- windows reinstall
- .....

Try unparking your cpu cores :)
And put windows in high performance mode

Have you tried updating your drivers? Making sure to see if your GPU is correctly fitted to the motherboard, or if anything else is fitted incorrectly?

Any idea why I get horrible FPS drops whenever I even remotely see a smoke in this map (down to sub 60 inside it) while I'm generally fine in normal games?

I have a gtx 970 and I have 140 fps and have all settings on lowest such a bad graphics card..

haha that method actually saved lots of our PCs on LAN-partys during summer. I miss LAN partys :(

my CPU is an AMD athlon x4 860k but i still get 100 fps when i used to get 150 - 180

try using mat_queue_mode 2 in set launch options in csgo properties.

lol i have on 1920x1080 with i5-4460 and GTX 960 300-400 fps
