Agreed, WAYYY TOO DARK. One of the unfortunatley frustrating things about this mod. Hate having battles at night.

Just avoid battles at night =3.

I don't mind the night battles, but I will say that the way the graphics are in this mod makes night look incredibly darker. It makes sense, but at the same time I can see why it would feel very unfair, because I don't think the AI is even slightly hindered by the dark the same way the player is.

That said, my advice (and what I do currently) is hit the nearest castle/town when I see that it is getting close to evening, and simply leaving either at dawn, or just before it.

Well after a few hours (like 6-8...) you get used to the dark battles, is not that bad at the end, and turning the directx to 7 instead of 9 helps i belive, not sure

i normally just put my gamma up to max for night battles, then put it back down to normal after its over

It's not realism when you are the only one being penalized and AI 'looters' still shoot at you from 100m away with deadly accuracy when you can't even see them.
