treadmill changes
So since the most recent update the treadmill had the recipe added to attach a generator so in order to use it it requires fuel water and a gym towel to operate. I'm not sure if this was intended or accidental but there is no longer the option to excercise on the treadmill without a generator using large batteries water and a gym towel. This was the very last thing i had been doing before the update charging large batteries and using them on the treadmill to increase my sprinting since the change it no longer has the option to do so. Gasoline is a limited and finite resource i tend to prefer saving for the macerator and batteries can be recharged endlessly. Just want to know if it is intended to no longer be able to use the large batteries to exercise or if this is something that will eventually be fixed. Now i have 54 large batteries that are fully charged but practically useless :(

HI i think you can still use them in mining drills and grinders too
plus some bonus items

Right but the mining drills grinders etc can be replaced with manual tools and thus arent required. I was specifically wondering if it was intentional to remove using large batteries on the treadmill or if it was an accidental outcome of creating the treadmill with generator recipe. I was inquiring if they will be adding in the use of large batteries with treadmills again or if it will now remain generator use only.

ive got quite a few 9v batteries lol need to find more uses for them too :)

also maybe a 2nd recipe is needed, to convert the treadmill from on-grid to off-grid?

Well as stated prior to the update the large batteries were the only way to operate the treadmill after the most recent update i can no longer use the batteries to run the treadmill but they have added another recipe to convert it to useable with consuming fuel by connecting it to a generator. I was hoping for a reply from someone that actually knows what the devloper of the mods intent is for this item. It has never been on grid use either battery and now gas powered only cannot and have not been able to connect it to the safehouse which is fully powered. I will also note i have all the books and made sure to read any that were changed by the patch and also the recipe was already there without the need to read any books to begin with. It simply replaced the excercise on treadmill recipe to require the treadmill with generator fuel a gym towel and water and added a recipe to "add generator to treadmill" it is an absolute downgrade as now it requires not only to consume a generator but also requires gasoline which cannot be readily replaced or recharged. There was no recipes required for either in the first place and there is no recipe for it now if there was it would be in one of the books i have. i understand you are attempting to help but it would help more if you were aware of what you were commenting on.

Gasoline is not finite. You can make more with BioDiesel.

you can make biodiesel but if im not mistaken takes 13% of a fuel can to add to the biodiesel to make biodiesel into the usable form of gasoline.

Yes it takes Fuel to make fuel but ocne you get that intial ammount you should have unlimited as long as you save some for more biofuel.
