Hydrocraft (Build 40)
Solar Generator
So I've managed to scavenge and build a solar generator. How does this work? I plug it in and then? Do I move items near it and it's connected?

Also it's not like the generator where you can see information like how much is left.

Any help from those with experience is very much appreciated.

Thank you

Should work like a normal Generator. But has to be outside.

Yes you put it outside and then "Connect" it and everything in the house works.

However I have 4 fridges and a lamp in the house and solar stops providing power at about 6:30pm at night. I have not yet figured out what time it kicks back on however.

My question is this, is there some limit to how many things the solar generator can power? And is there any way for us to get see what it's charge rate and amount are?

Also are they cumulative? So building more them and connecting all of them will run more things for a longer time?

I added another Solar Generator to the roof of my base and plugged it in, that seems to have solved the problem I was having with the power cutting out in the evening. So it seems that these do stack and that the more stuff you have running the more of them that you need.

Just wish I could get numbers as to how much power they produce and how much power different items use.
