Sad to hear you're having this problem, as this was the route I was intending on going down for vegetable oil, once I had the right skills. I've been using pumpkins to get seeds for now.

I've been trying to find the option myself, and can't find it either.

i am having the same issue was about to reach 10 farming and 5 trapping so i can make fine leather alice packs find donkeys and make pack mules. it says in patch notes "added shuck corn" doesnt say where it was added i have checked all my books and recipe lists do not see shuck corn anywhere. says "added thresher" dont see a recipe for one and doesnt mention where it was added to. perhaps if the patch notes were a bit more specific about where these items were added to so we know which books to re read or if there are new books we need to look for or what tab to look under for said recipe. so far cannot find anything to do with shucking corn and do not have any books that list a recipe to make a thresher or teach shuck corn :/

guess we will have to wait for hydromancer to respond about how to shuck corn and where to learn it cuz i for sure dont have the recipe in any book or menu if you have cotton planted at least you can harvest that for cotton and get cotton seeds too hopefully that works for getting the oil though you will end up with a ton of extra cotton

You need to learn how to Shuck Corn from the Herbalisim Textbook.

Hm. I did re-read it (it reverted to unread) but it doesn't list a skill learned from it that resembles "shuck corn" or anything familiar to that. Don't see anything in the crafting menu either.

I must be missing something? Sorry.
