i checked comments under the mod page and its a bug with the game itself? ok. BUT HOW DO I FIX IT?

Just started doing a new modded playthrough and i'm having an issue where every time i load a save it starts a refund process but i lose ALL perks and only get ONE point back to spend at level 5. Meaning I've permanently lost perk points. Very frustrating.

When you grow up, you may find that the world does not exist to serve you and does not have an answer to all of your questions.

You could start by not using Skyrim LE and instead upgrading to SSE, which has been out since 2016. This fixes it. Nobody is going to try and figure out why LE will randomly reset your mods when nobody is even on LE anymore (Nexus downloads for LE are down to 1/10th of SSE downloads).

Posting the same message multiple times will not fix it any faster. Use SSE.

Dude, you don't need to be a jerk. Didn't anyone ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say, do not say anything at all? Also, telling him not many people play the game he is referencing helps nothing and no one. You cannot use mods with the special edition. For that reason alone I do not play it. Skyrim is all about mods, Like Ordinator.

My point is that this is outside my control and is caused by something else, but because nobody does any load order debugging and everyone just hands the problem over to me, the best solution is to just upgrade to a version of Skyrim that doesn't have the issue.
