Unable to take prisoners and cannot gain renown?
Currently I'm a vassal for Holland. However, I've noticed no matter what I do I cannot gain renown. I even fought a bandit army of 89 against my army of 39 and yet my renown still stayed at 209 and is slowly decreasing. I also cannot take prisoners despite having a prisoner management skill of 3. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

The means for gaining renown should be the same as native.

Can you clarify what you mean when you say you can't take prisoners? They're not appearing on the menu after the battle or they're there but can't be taken?

I cannot take any at all? I kill bandits I've even fought other factions but I cannot take them prisoner! Yes, I can take the lords of the units prisoner but like I can't take their basic units to sell into ransom etc. Also if it works the same as in native I'm not usre why it's not working for me :(

Troops need to be knocked out to be taken prisoner. If they're killed they can't. Blunt damage is pretty rare in this mod, though, so you're not likely to take many prisoners.

And the problem with not gaining renown?
