Bug issue in game, need help [SOLVED]
I recently wanted to revisit this mod after I saw a few of my friends playing it again. However, when I booted up my old saves, I found the ocean to be glitched with this weird texture of a cow, which you can see in my latest screenshot. Thinking that my old saves might've been corrupted in some way, I tried to create a new one, but the same thing happened. I even tried out other mods to see if I had the same problem. But it seems only this mod is having this strange texture bug. Finally, I completely reinstalled the mod but to no avail. The bug really breaks my immersion, and is a huge distraction. Is there any way I can fix it?

You are not alone, I've seen it as well. Don't know about a fix but just letting you know that you are not alone.

Hey, I have seen that in not just this mod. Someone also mentioned it when they were playing normal M&B, i think it was NW DLC.

Interesting. But, like I've said, I've only really seen it on this mod. I think it has something to do with the specific texture the mod/NW DLC uses.

If you still have that issue, someone suggested a fix, here it is:

I managed to fix it. Go to the directory where you installed the game, commonly is: steam/steamapps/common/MountBlade Warband

There you will see 2 folders called "Texture" and the other one called "TexturesHD" (which is the one added in a past update that I just found out about it today)

Make a backup of the Textures HD folder, copy ALL its content and paste it in the "Texture" folder, replacing everything that it asks, after that delete the "TexturesHD" folder. BOOM, bye bye cows in the water and enjoy the barely improved textures

Having a similar issue but without the "cows" in the water; just the strange shore outline. Tried replacing the textures as suggested but it did not work. Any other ideas?
