Ther is no fix yet, but if you wiat until the arty has loaded, they will run back and fier the cannon.

I think cannon crews are set into the first control group by default. If you create a custom control group in the party window for your line infantry and then assign them under it, you should be able to control your infantry separate from your cannon crews. Hope this helps.

I wil try this in the futre, but I discovered if once all infantry have reached where you want them to go, if you command them to stand their ground, the crew retreat back to the cannons and start doing their proper job.

The artillery are supposed to default to control group 9, but sometimes they get sorted into the wrong group. As I didn't code the artillery or the formations I haven't been able to fix the bug yet, but if you notice them sorted wrong at the start of the battle, just keep tabbing out and going back in until they work.
