no, this totally is NOT a reference to the movie. no way! I mean, how could it be? It doesn't share ANY similarities! like, at all!

i'm pretty sure this was supposed to be a reference to the bread monster from expiration date, but it looks way more like a xenomorph.

the reference is from the alien series and alien vs predator the chestburster from avp and aliens are like the name tells you are creatures that burst out of someones chest after being infected by a face hugger they started out as a diseas produced by a technicly manmade creature no not the alien we all love and know but a less powerful giant facehugger i personnaly call the bodyhugger from prometheus wich is suppodsed to the a prequal to the aliens series made by a different creator theres many referances in the prometheus movie such as theship you see in alien 1 when the crew walks past a huge crashed ship well lets skip all that the bodyhugger from prometheus then infects the only last creature from a species we called engineers wich spoiler alert created humans as a project then saw that they grew to much power for them to control so they create bodyhuggers to destroy the humans sorry i forgot the spoiler alert wich at the end the last remaining bodyhugger and engineer fight it out the spoiler alert engineer looses and the bodyhugger infects it then a few minutes later after seeing the protagonist spouiler alert walk off in the distance it then brings you back to the dead engineer and dead bodyhugger something then bursts out of the engineers chest no not a chestburster but a small alien queen wich then spoiler alert inhabits the crashed ship lays eggs there with no victims to infect so she lay there with her eggs waiting for victims to enter the ship then comes the alien series the bodyhugger didnt infect humans because it wasnt adapted to them only engineers so after observing humans it knew how they moved spoke walked and run so when the bodyhugger infects the engineer its body wasnt able to adapt into a facehugger it infects the engineer then a human adapted alien queen comes out of the engineer andlike i said inhabits the ship lays eggs dies and the eggs sit there for human contact leading to alien so yeah it basicly is a referance to alien lol i just explained the lore of alien movies an prometheus when the question was is this an alien refereance i get into things in conversations that have nothing to do with the question

bodyhuggers are really an un-human adapted facehugger wich infected the engineer at the end of the movie was adapted to humans and made the ship their home and waited for humn contact
