Growing Buildings...
I've been working on my own mod and really wanted to know how to make buildings grow. It's a bit frustrating. I've literally copied the code from this lovely, and salty, mod for the subcore and subfracture but still cannot get it to work! Obviously I changed the faction and ID codes but what I find is that the subcores won't grow building templates I make in sandbox and when I spawn those templates the subcore disconnects from the structure and goes all over the place. Bit weird. Anyhow, I was wondering if you had a few pointers or even, big ask, if you'd write a guide to successful building growth. Cheers :steamsalty:

To be honest, I might not be the best person to ask about this, seeing as I can't seem to get my own buildings to work consistently. If I get it figured out though, I'll probably post back here.
Fair enough. I had mixed success by studying the farmer's seeds and the spore idea from the Helios faction mod (the author of whom I may approach on this subject...), but still can't create my own self-replicating plants or a sub-fracture type launcher. I'll post back if I learn anything useful.
Yes, this is a dilemma.
