You do say that sub cores always works for you. Maybe you need the original file for it to work. Ask the people who got the original file from here. From your Dropbox. Maybe it works for all of them? Maybe that is the solution?

I has done much testing. And found out that the non Steam version of the salt mod got working sub cores. Or atleast on my combuter. They work 10/10 times but all the other things in that version are crappy and buggy. And i did also test at the steam version but they works 0/10 times. So Salt V 2.4 do got working sub cores.

Summary: You do got working sub cores even without knowing it.

That's fantastic news. Also the direct download version was very outdated, so I've updated it to the newest version

The only thing that works on the download version ARE the sub cores.

So now the sub cores and the rest of the mod should work? At the download version or Steam version?

All I did was update the download version. I still have no idea how one would fix the steam version, and I have no clue as to why nothing in the direct download version works except the sub cores
