I have noticed this problem with a couple of the custom factions which have a "root"-ish launcher, which subsequently turns into a building.


The projectile acts like a drone (nice touch, if it was intended) and sticks correctly to rocks, etc. However, it doesn't spawn any additional parts once attached to the rock.

I had a similar issue when using the "Salt" faction; in that case it worked intermittently.

Any ideas?

I dont see any inactive stations. Are they either really rare or was I really unlucking with this faction 3 times.

ZzcactuszZ, Not sure, but I had the same issue. I believe it is some incompatabiltiy with another modification. I fiddled with the activated mods; and got a world generated with inactive stations. However, I did still spawn in absolute lower left corner of the map.

...... Do I need to attach anything to the "projectile"?
I had problems with the Salt custom faction's similar item as well...

With Salt, I it seemed to work intermittently. I literally moved my command module over a block and it started working, then it wasn't again.

Haven't been able to get it working at all with this faction.
They just stick, and then don't build.

Do I have a conflict with other mods?

sorry for the late response, I was busy doing things for a bit... you might have a conflict, I'm not sure, for some reason building launchers for any faction is just REALLY buggy
