Not quite sure what the 700MB download yesterday was about myself...
I think I might buy this on sale in the next couple days. I LOVED Kotor, but I remember just being unsure about this one... I don't even remember beating it, I'm wondering if I actually ran into a bug and couldn't figure out how to proceed. It's been a long time since I played.
I won't remember the original much though probably after all this time, so I'd love to hear what obvious, and subtle, things stand out to you with this mod installed. I know I can just read the list of changes, but I'm curious what you actually notice from a gameplay perspective.
For changes in the game, I've noticed some new things, especially on Nar Shaddaa. There's additional sections where you play as your companions fighting through the bounty hunters. I remember there were a few areas blocked off in vanilla, but now I'm able to enter them. The dock master in vanilla is normally a Twi'lek, but in the mod it's replaced with a different alien. Throughout the game I have been acquiring different items that I never saw in vanilla, but I did read that some of the items are randomized on playthroughs. I'm not sure if there were items added by the mod.
I'll let you know if I notice any other big things.
Now that I've been thinking about it, I really do think I reached a point where I couldn't figure out any way to proceed in the game. At the time I didn't realise there were so many bugs, so I bet I hit a dead end bug and just walked away. I loved the first game so much, I really do need to try this again.
Alright Crosstroop3r, you've convinced me! I'm going to buy it right now! I just spent most of my Steam Wallet, I just happen to have almost exactly what this is on sale for, that's lucky!
Though as Obi-Wan said "in my experience, there is no such thing as luck".
This was meant to be. Thanks. haha.
However we did fix a lot of bugs in the random loot script and restored some items the developers left in certain modules, but not inside any containers.
There's also the Vao Armband, but since it's a global itemfile, no idea where it goes so I made a seperate mod for it rather than being part of TSLRCM.
