Massive Lag on Peragus
I couldn't seem to find a discussion about this problem (although it's entirely possible that I missed something!), but my game becomes unplayable after just a short amount of time on Peragus.

As Kreia teaches the player "Force precognition" or whatever it's called, thus allowing you to sense three droids behind a door, the game lags like CRAZY and doesn't seem to allow me to move the camera, either. So far I haven't found a solution; I'd try to play further ahead and see if it fixes itself, if I could, but as I said, the game is unplayable.

Please help!

I had the EXACT same problem and to me the only solution was to unsubscribe from the mod and start a new game with a new character on vanilla. I tried all the graphic configurations in the menu and in the .ini document and nothing worked. I'm sorry but I think it's just the mod.

Nevermind, I played vanilla and it started lagging after Kreia teaches Force preconition again.

I actually have another computer with the same Steam account on it and, weirdly enough, I've been playing the game (with the resotoration mod) with absolutely no issues. I have no idea what the problem on the other computer is, but if I figure something out, I'll be sure to post it in this thread!

id love to know why my game lags so much not just on peragus but also on telos as soon as im in that jail cell thing. its getting very annoying that i cant even really play my all time fav. game. i tried without the mod and it worked for a while. i tried with the mod and again it worked for a while (either to the three droids or to telos). i have tried the graphics stuff. i have tried the ini. stuff and yet nothing seems to work what so ever. PLEASE HELP!!!! :(

Probably need to use the legacypc version then.

ikr before it ran perfectly. but then and update came. mods are allowed to be used and poof look what we have here now...major lag in areas there wasnt any lag before. (minus dantooine there is usually a little lag there with or without mods and before the update)

Yeah, switching it to LegacyPC will fix the issue, you won't be able to run mods though.

Game properties-> betas-> switch to Legacy(older version), the down side is that you will not be able to use the saves from the Mod(they are not compatible, and will not be lost)

oh it is very addicting. i may not be able to use the mods. but i can still use console commands lol

well now that i have a new laptop with a better hard drive and what not im now able to use both mods and console commands and my xbox 360 controller if i so wish but sadly some of the mods have been causing issues with my game. i save then when i go back to load i start over at the kolto tank where i first wake up but this time i have a lightsaber in my hand and a kill blaster as a back up weapon if i so choose to switch. anyone know why this is?
