I'm playing the following kind of game atm... it's pretty sweet so far:

1. Map is Highlands with Dense Ridgelines and Seas
2. Play as Venice
3. Delete all other major civs, make the single remaining opponent the Barbarians
4. Turn off all victory conditions other than Domination and Science

The challenge is to either win a domination victory or turtle long enough to escape into space.
