noticed that when i take say a machine gun and fire directly upon the shield generator attached to a statrion, it does little to no damage to shields, which is what you would expect. However when i fire on surrounding blocks, the machine gun drains the shields for 1000 pts/ shot. Im not to sure if the same applies to large or small ships or not but figured i would mention that i stumbled upon it here anyhow. Great mod btw been waiting ages for someone to make something like this.
