Hi Guys if you would like to install this mod follow these simple steps~!
Mod stacking is out, and the new way to load mods is out! This is not a Map mod so you don't need to add anything to your commandline, just add it to your GameUserSettings.ini read on!

Step 1: Subscribe to the mod, once done go into a single player game and test it's installed

** Continue on for server installation **

Step 2: Locate your Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods folder

** For the live version of the mod the id is 479295136 **

Step 3: Copy the 479295136 folder and 479295136.mod file to your server into the folder
-> ShooterGame\Content\Mods\

Step 4: You will need to then start your server, if you know how to do it already that's awesome =]
** Add this line to your GameUserSettigns.ini, under [ServerSettings] **

ActiveMods=479295136

to stack then do this
ActiveMods=479295136,(ModIdHere),(OtherModIdHere)

** Hawkz recommends adding

/Game/Maps/TheIslandSubMaps/TheIsland?listen?GameModIds=479295136,(ModIdhere),(ModIdHere)

To your commandline to start up with stacking mods, once again left most is the overhaul/base mods and right most is the mod you want the item list from.

** linux **
./ShooterGameServer TheIsland?listen?SessionName=[MyArkServerName] - Aku Shima Mod?ServerAdminPassword=[YourServerPassword]?multihome=[your ip]?Port=[your port]?QueryPort=[22030 for default]?listen -server -log

change everything with [] around them to your desired values =]

** windows **
"ShooterGameServer.exe" TheIsland?listen?SessionName=[MyArkServerName] - Aku Shima Mod?ServerAdminPassword=[YourServerPassword]?multihome=[your ip]?Port=[your port]?QueryPort=[22030 for default]?listen -server -log

change everything with [] around them to your desired values =]

** StudioWildCard are working on making the mods of a server automatically update and Verify, untill then always make sure to update your mod files on your server if there is ever any weird issues, just load a singleplayer map with the mod to always force install everything.

Question about step one. Subscribed and playing single player. At what level can I determine whether the mod is working? I.E. what is the lowest level 'new' engram? Or is there a quicker way?

After you install just start single player.. you dont even have to load in all the way then go to your Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\ and you will see a mods folder with it inside.

@midgefidge I don't tamper with any core files so you won't see any engrams inbetween the core files, just scroll to the bottom and you will see everything at the end. Easiest thing to test is look at the Item list and see what the last item is, and see if it's the last iem in the engram list.

The mod sounds great.

I am thinking about trying this mod but have one question. How would I go about uninstalling it if I decide I don't like it?

Am I correct in assuming we have to start a SP game everytime we need to update the mod? or is it everytime the game client updates?

@Ultimate Fury You don't ever need to wipe your data for *THIS* mod, there are other mods yes, that are all about easy mode and changing the entire game that you need to delete everything, including buildings and dinos, but this is a *CORE SAFE* mod.

You will have to update your files for ALL mods everytime there is an update, it's easiest to update them by deleting the old ones, and downloading fresh ones, but you don't ever have to touch the system files.

Ok, Thanks.

So when an update comes out I would need to delete the old mod files in the mod folder and start an SP game up to load it back in?

I played it for several hours last night and I havent yet gotten the dart rifle, (was honestly the only reason I wanted this mod, got on the workshop looking for better tranqing mods and found this) I got the engrams but went to bed as it was late when I got the required level.

I think the dart rifle is in a pretty good spot level wise, but have you ever considered tweaking it a bit so it is available a little earlier? say level 40 or 45?

my server has limit command line functions - ShooterGameServer.exe TheIsland?Port=23970?QueryPort=23974?RCONPort=23978?MaxPlayers=30

Can you help me setup a command line for Aku Shima? - I'm not a techie so no clue.

@Ultimate Fury The rifle is after the SuperFab which is after the Generator which is after the Fabricator, this is safe mod that doesn't tamper with core items, so I won't be changing the core level requirements like easy mode mods.

@BlackHorde our windows server doesn't list the mod in it's command line, so it's not exactly a requirement, just needs to be in the .INI file
