I've never seen or heard of this issue before, and I'm personally running it on a dedicated windows VM and a dedicated Linux box.

There is a lot of issues with steam not downloading all the files lately, but that will never cause a memory issue with your server, there is nothing in this mod that would be giving any memory issues, as non TC mods don't have access to anything that loads or accesses memory.

If it's a memory access violation error then it's because of the engram hiding is happening at a stage that the engram entry at array index you are using does not yet have memory.

If it's a memory overflow issue then something is causing it to go into a loop during instantiation or creation.

I don't have any kind of access in the mod I'm making to cause these kinds of issues, I don't use graphs, can't even use code, and the DevKit can't even cook/upload a file that isn't referenced thoroughly in memory.

yeah i didnt think it would be directly the mod, but ill be danged if my server just doesnt respond every time i attempt to install it. then host havoc twice now has had to do a file validation to get me back up.

and i dont delete anything, i FTP in, add the file and folder for the mod. add the commandline to target the mod id, add activemods=modid in gameusersettings.ini and earlier (the second time) the server was up for 30 minutes or so, then went down and wont respond at all.

and its the only mod im using by the way

Stop your server.
Make a backup of your TheIsland.ark file.
Make a backup of your GameUserSettings.ini file.
Delete your GameUserSettings.ini file.
Use the default commandline to start the server (if it's a dedi site you should be able to just select it)

Start your server with default settings.
Test it, and see if it's fine.
Stop server.
Add ActiveMods=479295136 ** Directly ** under [ServerSettings]
Start server
Test if you get a ModMismatch error that's good
Keep closing steam deleting your mods folder in your Steam\steamapps\common\Ark\Content\Mods\ open steam again, then login and goto singleplayer/host to redownload, and then upload the mod files to your ShooterGame\Content\Mods\ folder (overwrite files, don't delete the ones on server)

If the server starts and lets you in press ESC and look at if it says Aku Shima Mod 197.1
Then add your old details back to the server line by line, add *one* change at a time, till it either fails or you have everything working.

If it doesn't say Aku Shima Mod 197.1 (it didn't start the server with the mod details.

Stop server
Make a new commandline
Add ---> /Game/Mods/479295136/AkuShima?ModId=479295136?
after ShooterGameServer.exe and before TheIsland
Start server
Test again.
If it works now, cool. If not I can't do anything to help, it has always worked for me, I only ever run 1 single mod, the Test version or the Live version. =\

yeah so i want to apologize, i honestly think it was a big coincidence with the server itself having issues at the exact same time as i decided to install the mod, everything up and running now....but, id like to thank you for your quick reponses and the means to help. great mod and great support. will continue to use any stuff you guys make for sure, and am happy your providing hard work for us to have fun!!!

im a graphic designer myself so i know how frustrating digital art can be, but the end result is always exilirating! happy modding~!

@Kaillzzraham Some hosted services will require you to put a ticket in to get the mod to be installed, if you give them a ticket with the ModID -> 479295136 They can install it for you if you are having issues, sometimes the commandlines won't update online tools don't install thigns properly.

yeah that costs money, i was able to get it up myself. not the one thats usually afraid of self installation, if you get what i mean.

the server was suffering from issues or something from something entirely unrelated that was causing the server crash exactly as i was installing the mod, LOL. go figure.

I mostly stick to 2d lately, 3d work is incredibly tedious to me, and low poly sux! haha. but my friend is a pretty good 3d artist and loves it, maybe i can coax him into it.

@Krux lol, low poly isn't as big of an issue with ark, you can have 40k plus models in the game without much issue, the destruction meshes can be upwards of 50k polys sometimes.
The bow is like 12k polys, and that's a bow...

is this working since patch 201.5 i have it loaded on to my server it loads engrams are ther and available cant learn them though

Sounds like you stacked your mods wrong then, or you didn't install all the files properly to your server. Also this isn't a help discussion and I don't get notifications here, only Krux does.

Maybe u forget to upload 479****.mod file,u can find it in ur Ark file -
Steam/Steamapps/Common/ARK/Shootergame/Content/Mod.

These file is not shown on Steam workshop Directory.
Basically what ive done is redo everything,Using Filezilla to upload these file into ur Server Control Panel / File Manager manually.

Hope it works for ya man,Dont forget get the latest update of this MOD
