How badly will this mess with my game?
I have never installed a mod simply because I really dont want the hassle.
I like the looks of this but the game being in alpha and having its own problems atm makes me hesistant to add to that list.
So how is this mod? All my 400 hrs are in singleplayer and I am used to the way things are.
Will this turn things upside down as far as frustration and learning or is it very self explanatory?
If there are to many hassles Im fine with not installing this at all and would appreciate being told so if it is.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Well i am using this mod quite a while and never had any trouble with it. Everything works and all new items are learnable / craftable. There is only one thing you have to keep in mind. As long as the Ark Dev's don't update the Dev-Kit there will be an overlapping with the item-IDs. For example if you try to use the cheat-command giveitemnum 392 1 1 false to cheat in the Spray-Painter you will get the Adrenalin from the Aku Shima Mod, but you still can learn and craft them. So the only problem is with cheating new added items.

Personaly i could only recomend this Mod cause it makes some stuff easier (crafting Kibble for example), everything is straight forward and selfexplainig and this mod also add some cool looking stuff for building (like the Glass- and Reinforced Wood Tier)

Oh and just a reminder. You need sparkpoweder to power the Alchemy Kit and craft stuff in it.

I would agree with MAD on this. Aku Shima doesnt actually change gameplay, it simply adds some new items and makes a few tedious things FAR less tedious (having a dodo farm for eggs makes kibble making so much easier). Also, once you hit higher levels, having the portable equipment can make some of the harder tames easier. Cant beat carrying a fridge and generator around to store Prime Meat in for those tames that you dont want to bother making kibble for.

Also, the Glass and Reinforced Tiers are a very nice graphic addition to the basic 4 tiers currently in the game. Also, the Ceiling Lights... thank god for them. No more lamp posts everywhere.

I would recommend getting the mod if you like what you see in the images, and it is a very easy to install item, especially for singleplayer.
